About Me

My photo
Janice
In September 2011 after years of staring longingly in French estate agency windows ..... we finally bought a house 20 minutes drive from Carcassonne, intending to divide our lives between Yorkshire and Caunes Minervois. Things didn't workout quite as we imagined, as I was diagnosed with cancer shortly afterwards. After surgery and follow up treatment I have now been cancer free for 12 years. So Mark and I continue to spend time in the two places we love.... Caunes Minervois and Yorkshire. We love France, but our call on living in the UK has increased along with the number of our grandchildren. We now have 8, 6 living in Yorkshire and 2 in Liverpool. At the moment, the pattern of our travels between homes suits us well.
