Concentration

Concentration has been observed in considerable amounts here in Caunes.

Grandchildren have been listening carefully and enjoying stories,

and learning to play draughts when the weather meant going outside was not really an option…lots of concentration was required here.

Keeping fit…or for some of us, getting fit,  was deemed to be important, and was concentrated on for a couple of days.

Then there was an amazing amount of concentration on the Huddersfield Town play off match, which they won and meant they will play in the Championship league next year. There was concentrated celebration following this result.

....and some serious concentration has been given to sleeping.

  1. Looks like pretty chilled concentration though - the very best kind. Glad all has gone so well - and you had the sun too! Axxx

    1. Yes Annie, the sun has finally arrived, and it is incredible how all visitors seem to have forgotten that the first 4 or 5 days of their trip involved sheltering from downpours. Everyone is now happy. Jx

  4. It looks like a lovely, concentrated time is being had by all, Janice. :-) I'm impressed by the home gym - how very disciplined of you.

  5. Hello Perpetua, when we downsized, it was a real issue...what to do with the gym equipment, so we put it in to storage, just in case the house we eventually bought in France had room.....and it did.... and the same thought processes applied to the piano. I am so pleased we kept it all. Our young women visitors have been delighted with the gym too, to counteract all their french bread and wine.

  6. Does it get any better than this? What a beautiful family and how grand that all are playing and concentrating together. You have such beautiful grandchildren, Janice, and just look at that contented and sleeping baby.
