Sometimes these ponderings will be from Caunes, and sometimes from Yorkshire.
What a happy day it looks Janice, and a beautiful spot with the river running by.It all looks perfectly lovely, and I now see where your cake colour scheme came from.
Thanks Rosemary, it was alovely spot....just outside Brighouse...perhaps not what many people expect for a West Yorkshire venue.
The first picture is priceless.
Yup....he is priceless...all of the time !
Wonderful! A great family day but especially for the bride (who looked stunning) and groom.I particularly liked your phrase about an 'extended, blended family. Don't you wish there were more families who could embrace this concept?
Indeed, our family is quite complicated, but somehow, it works, which benefits everyone. J.
Such lovely photos - the first one is priceless! It looks a beautiful location, and what a lot of happy memories you will all have!x
Thanks Alix....it was a lovely day...and Liam is always priceless !
Hi Janice, I can only say BacktoBodrum beat me to the right comment on the first picture - it is priceless - and I'm absolutely with Gaynor on your wonderful phrase - 'extended, blended family'.You had some good weather too, which I am sure you all deserved. Great photos. Great memories. Axxx
The weather was an added bonus, howling wind and rain the day before and the day after.... Saturday was sunny, bright, and reasonably warm. As you know, our family is a little on the complicated side, but the kids and now the grandchildren certainly benefit from the fact that we all get on so well !...and yes, Liam is completely priceless. Jxxx
Blessings abound, don't they Janice? It looks like you had a wonderful day weather-wise, which I see from your other comments, and what a beautiful "extended, blended family". Families can be complicated, but, all works best when all try to get along, as yours certainly does. I'm so happy for all of you, especially the bride and groom.
Thanks Penny,I hope the happiness we all experienced on Saturday continues. Everything felt so perfect. J.
Everything went right, didn't it...from start to finish.... and it's super to see so many happy people assembled.
It did go really well, the only slight hic up was that the disabled access to the grassy area by the lake was not good, so the bride's grandmother, and the bride's step mother's step mother ( I have mentioned a few times that our family is a little complicated)never made it down the very steep steps, so missed out on being in some of the family photos.
Looks like a beautiful family and a great wedding...with memories that will last a lifetime.Everything looks perfect...beautiful bride and bridesmaids and so many happy people all gathered together.Love the first pic...he's so adorable. Thanks for sharing your great photo's. erica
Thanks Erica, it was a great day, and yes.... there is something very adorable about that little boy. He and his cousins are gorgeous.J.
I think most families are at least a little bit complicated. We have a Yorkshire wedding coming up in a few weeks time and I am reliably informed that it will involve a little paganism around the Witch's Stone in Meanwood Park. We can't wait!
ooh, that sounds fun, I hope we get to hear about it and see some photos. J.
Gorgeous photos of a wonderful day, Janice and the sun even managed to shine for you! To be honest, families are complicated even when they're simple :-)
It was agreat day Perpetua, and you are right.... even very simple families have complications, skeletons and all. Our complicated blended family is actually very straight forward. J.
